New Register of Voters - Elections Ontario

BRACEBRIDGE VOTES - Beginning in January 2024, Elections Ontario became responsible for
maintaining the Permanent Register of Elections for Ontario. This information is used to form the Voters
List for municipal and provincial elections in Ontario.

New Register of Voters - Elections Ontario

Elections Ontario launched Register to Vote, a new online voter registration tool for municipal and provincial elections in Ontario that provides voters with a single location where they can:

  • Confirm, update or add their information to the Registry of Voters;
  • Search, add or remove a property other than a home address in Ontario;
  • Check the status of their request;
  • Remove themselves from the Register;
  • Remove a deceased person from the Register.

Visit the Elections Ontario Register to Vote portal here: https://vreg.registertovoteon.ca/en/home for more information.

Register of Future Voters

Using the Register to Vote tool individuals that are currently 16 or 17 years of age can be added to the Register of Future Voters.

School Support Information

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) will remain responsible for collecting school support information from eligible electors. Individuals are encouraged to use MPAC’s online tool to review their school support designation at https://school-support.mpac.ca/.
