Muskoka Compliance Audit Committee

The Muskoka Compliance Audit Committee for the 2022-2026 Term of Council will receive and make decisions on applications for compliance audits of candidates' and registered third party 2022 municipal election campaign finances and any by-election campaign finances during the 2022 to 2026 Council term. 

The MCAC is also responsible for reviewing reports submitted to the MCAC by the Clerk with respect to any contributor who appears to have contravened any of the contribution limits to a Candidate’s or Registered Third Party election campaign.

An Application for a Compliance Audit shall be made to the Clerk of the Member Municipality for which the Candidate was nominated for office or in which the Registered Third Party was registered, and it shall be in writing and shall set out the reasons for the Applicants belief. 

The deadline for Applications is June 29, 2023.
